[Kali Linux] Network Setup guide


Introduction

This is The Network Configuration For Kali Linux.

1. Permanent configuration

Edit The /etc/network/interfaces
File With An Editor Such As gedit or vi.
Add The Following Lines At The End Of The File.

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

auto eth1
iface eth1 inet dhcp

Verify that the file’s
complete contents are displayed as follows.

└─$ cat /etc/network/interfaces
# This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).

source /etc/network/interfaces.d/*

# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

auto eth1
iface eth1 inet dhcp

Now run the command below
to apply the network settings.

Also, both adapters will
be configured automatically even after rebooting.
